Dorothy (Bogner) Hoover

Age 91, formerly of Avalon, passed peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2017. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hoover; dear mother of Claudia Lee Hahn and Nancy Hoffman; grandmother of Lori (Hahn) Fracek, Kristin (Hahn) Bennett, Dana (Gilbertson) Tabay, David Gilbertson and preceded in death by Robert Gilbertson; great-grandmother of Zane Fracek, Luke Fracek, Anna Bennett, Madeline Tabay, Nicholas Tabay, Jameson Tabay and Christian Tabay; sister of Alan Bogner; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Madeline Bogner; her brothers, Bill Bogner and Jack Bogner. Dorothy was an active member within the Lutheran community and a longtime member of the Bell Telephone Union. Family and friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Seaman Memorial Chapel (Abundant Life Center), 105 Burgess Dr., Zelienople, PA 16063.
