FERGUSON
John H.
Age 91, a resident of Masonic Village of Sewickley, formerly of Ben Avon, on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.  Beloved husband of the late Adda Marie (Parris) Ferguson.  Loving father of JoEllen (Fred) Leech, John H. (Tracy) Ferguson III and Ann L. Turnbull; grandfather of Katie (Matt Kretschmer) Leech, Annie Leech, Tommy Leech, Jessica (Richard) Graham, A.J. (Teresa) Ewing, Ken (Kayla) Turnbull and Kevin Turnbull; also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.  John was preceded in death by his parents  J. Howard and Margaret Ferguson, siblings Sam and Mary Evelyn Ferguson, and granddaughter Laurie Ewing.  He was raised in Clinton, PA and served in the U.S. Navy as a radioman during WW II.  John graduated from Grove City College with a B.S. in Commerce and from the University of Chicago with a MBA in Finance.  He retired as Director of Credit from J&L/LTV Steel after 39 years.  John was an active member of the Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon, former member of the Ben Avon Borough Council and co-manager of the North Boro’s Food Pantry.  A Memorial Service Celebrating John’s Life will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 10 AM in Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon, 7501 Church Avenue, Ben Avon, PA  15202.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in John’s memory may be made to the church.  Arrangements entrusted to McDONALD – LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, L.L.C, 529 California Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15202.  Please view and sign the family’s online guestbook at:               www.mcdonald-linn.com
