Christopher T. Joyce

Christopher Timothy Joyce (aka Chip), age 54, youngest of the 5 brothers but the first to be reunited with our parents, Helen and Patrick Joyce. Chip lived an enthusiastic and spirited but somewhat unconventional life.  He loved the outdoors.  He made his home in the country (Clarion County) where he lived with Kathi Griffith and their 3 rescue dogs.  He was most at peace in the outdoors.

Christopher (Chip) really enjoyed hunting and fishing.  For a while, he held the PA state archery record for whitetail buck.  Chip's other favorite pastime was dirt track racing.  He particularly loved being at Lernerville Speedway.  Just the smell of the racing fuel gave him an immediate pick up!

Chip was fun to be around.  He did not have a mean bone in his body.  He had a great sense of humor (got that from his mom) and was always willing to lend a hand.  He is survived by his girlfriend, Kathi Griffith, 4 brothers: Patrick (Bobbie), Michael (Erin), Timothy (Beth) and Greg (Kristen).  He is loved and will be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews, 50+ first cousins and many friends.

Christopher (Chip) struggled health wise these last few years and we are all thankful he can now rest in peace.
