Margo Forsyth Obituary

Margo Thompson Forsyth, 91, died peacefully on Thursday evening, May 28, 2020. 
She was born in Ben Avon on Sept. 7, 1928, the daughter of Wallace Thompson and 
Mary Evens Thompson. An Economics major and Class of 1950 graduate of 
Wellesley College, Margo spent several years working in New York City at McGraw 
Hill Publishing before coming home and marrying her childhood sweetheart Andrew 
W. Forsyth, Jr. Margo was a lifelong member of the Community Presbyterian 
Church of Ben Avon, an avid gardener, bird enthusiast and a lover of all animals. She 
was a voracious reader and also loved swimming, golfing, the ocean and walking her 
dogs throughout the neighborhood. Margo cherished her time with friends and 
family and greatly appreciated their support over the last years of her life, along with 
the many individuals who provided medical services and care with skill and 
compassion. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Andrew W. Forsyth 
III, Leslie Jones (Lynn), Laurie Bucko (Martin) and Carol Huckins (Todd); her 
grandchildren, Kelly Allen (Jon), Ryan (Ginnie) and Lee Jones and Andrew and 
Graham Bucko and 2 great grandchildren, Luke and Caroline Allen. Contributions in 
lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of your choice. Burial will be private and a 
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the McDonald ~ Linn Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC.
